Ferrassières
its "bories" and lavender fields

A small village in the Drôme department, historically attached to the Comté de Sault, surrounded by lavender fields on the edge of the plateau d'Albion, with the Mont-Ventoux, the Lure mountain and Saint-Pierre de Lagarde d'Apt on the horizon.
You shouldn't miss the remarquable panorama over the plateau d'Albion since the viewpoint on the road of Col de l'Homme Mort..
"Bories" are drystone constructions with corbelled vaults. They vary in shape and size and were used as shelters or stables.
